FAQs

Here are some answers to common questions.

Services at Hope are usually about an hour, but no longer than 75 minutes.

At Hope, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where we strive to make the deep truths of the Christian faith accessible to everyone. In our worship, we follow a pattern of worship called a liturgy that traces its roots back thousands of years to the Old Testament synagogue. We follow this pattern because it keeps us grounded in the truths of God's Word every single week. We offer service folders that include explanations for each part our worship service, so make sure to grab one of those on your way in, especially if you're new to Christianity. Here is a more complete overview of the parts of our service.

We believe that it is important for children to be a part of worship. During every service, we will offer a Children’s Bible Story so that children can learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate way. Our goal is to make it easy for families to stay engaged while kids feel comfortable and included.

Family-Friendly Spaces

  • Family Tables: A dedicated space with coloring pages, crayons, snacks, and activity bags so kids can stay occupied while still participating in the service.
  • Nursery: A quiet room for parents with babies, equipped with a couch, glider, and changing table. A window and speaker allow you to continue seeing and hearing the service while you’re there.

Hope Kids (Sunday School)
We also offer a weekly Hope Kids class from 9:00–9:45am for PreK–5th grade, where children learn about Jesus in age-appropriate ways. Throughout the year, we host additional activities to help kids grow in their faith and build friendships.

We are a Christian church. We believe that every person was born into this world as a sinner, completely unable to save themselves. But God solved that problem of sin by sending his son Jesus into the world to live the perfect life that we could not, die on the cross to pay for our sins, and rise from the dead to give eternal life in heaven to all who believe. You can read more about our church beliefs here.

  • We have a parking lot next to our church, and street parking is also available.

We love seeing children at Hope and encourage them to be part of worship. Our goal is to make it easy for families to stay engaged while kids feel comfortable and included.
