Visiting a new church can feel like a big step. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life, are returning after time away, or are simply curious about Christianity, we want you to know that you are welcome at Hope Lutheran Church.
On Sunday mornings, we step away from the noise and busyness of everyday life to gather around God’s Word together. Everything we do in worship centers on Jesus and the hope we have through him.
Timing
Sunday worship at Hope Lutheran Church begins at 10:00 AM, and services typically last about one hour, never longer than 75 minutes. Kids Sunday School takes place before worship from 9:00–9:45 AM.
Parking
When you arrive, you’ll find parking next to the church, with additional street parking available nearby.
Service Overview
In our worship, we follow a pattern of worship called a liturgy that traces its roots back thousands of years to the Old Testament synagogue. We follow this pattern because it keeps us grounded in the truths of God's Word every single week.
As you come in, feel free to grab a service folder. These guides walk through the service and explain the different parts of worship, which can be especially helpful if you are new to Christianity or Lutheran worship.
You do not need to know all the songs, prayers, or traditions to attend, and there is no expectation that you already have everything figured out. People from many different backgrounds and stages of life gather together at Hope each week.
